To determine which app to download for remote control, users should check the manufacture date on their unit's data plate. If the unit was manufactured before April 30, 2023, they should download the AlorAir-R app. If it was manufactured on or after that date, the AlorAir-R Lite app should be downloaded. Both apps only support a 2.4 GHz network, so it is recommended to disable the 5 GHz network on the router for a smoother connection.
